Project Description

Projet de fresque participative réalisée dans l’école « Collaso i Gil » dans le quartier du Raval à Barcelone, Catalogne. Elle à été réalisée avec l’aide d’un groupe d’élève de l’école.

Le projet s’inspire des « Castellers ». Un « Castells » qui signifie « Château » en Catalan, est une manifestation culturelle et traditionnelle de la région de Catalogne et de Valence. Elle consiste à construire une tour humaine. Elle met en avant les valeurs du travail en équipe, la discipline, l’humilité, le dépassement de soi et la solidarité.

En 2010, elle a été inscrite dans la liste de l’UNESCO du patrimoine immatériel de l’humanité. Le symbole en arrière plan fait référence au « Panot de Barcelona ». Aussi connu comme « la fleur de Barcelone » ou « la rose de Barcelone ». C’est est un type de carreau conçu par Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Initialement imaginé pour la maison Amatller, il a ensuite été utilisé pour paver de nombreuses rues de Barcelone. Il est devenu un véritable symbole de la capitale Catalane. ___

Participatory Mural Project at the "Collaso i Gil" School in the Raval District of Barcelona, Catalonia. This mural was created with the help of a group of students from the school. The symbol in the background refers to the "Panot de Barcelona," also known as "the flower of Barcelona" or "the rose of Barcelona." It is a type of tile designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Initially created for the Amatller House, it was later used to pave many streets in Barcelona. It has become a true symbol of the Catalan capital.
