DRAPEAU BLANC

Peinture sur boitier électrique réalisée dans le cadre du Colors Urban Art Festival et de la Fête de l’Europe 2022.

Elle fait référence à la guerre en Ukraine. Les couleurs reprennent celles du drapeau. La porcelaine brisée symbolise la fracture du pays. Le tournesol est la fleur emblématique du pays avec son exportation mondiale d’huile de tournesol.

Le titre de l’oeuvre fait écho au signe international de paix, de trêve et de négociation.

Elle est située place Sébastien Brant, juste en face de l’ambassade de Russie à Strasbourg.

Painting on electrical box made as part of the Colors Urban Art Festival and the Europe Day 2022.

 It refers to the war in Ukraine. The colors represent those of the flag. Broken porcelain symbolizes the fracture of the country. The sunflower is the country’s emblematic flower with its worldwide export of sunflower oil. The title of the work echoes the international sign of peace, truce and negotiation.

It is located on Place Sébastien Brant, just opposite the Russian Embassy in Strasbourg.
