Project Description

🇨🇵 Fresque réalisée dans le centre ville de Cordoba dans le quartier de Nueva Córdoba en Argentine.

Elle à été réalisée en collaboration avec l’artiste Argentin Julito Vaca.

Sur le premier mur, je me suis inspiré d’une tisserande Péruvienne rencontrée à Cuzco. Le personnage en face sur l’autre mur s’inspire du célèbre chanteur Argentin Carlos Gardel. Pour le fond, je me suis inspiré de paysages volcaniques que j’ai pu voir lors de ma dernière expédition en Bolivie.

Le mot « CAMBALACHE » en Argentine, Uruguay et certaines parties du Chili se réfère à un échange (de n’importe quel type) ou à l’idée de troque. Il se réfère aussi à un lieu ou une situation ou prédomine le désordre et le bruit.

La symbolique du mot nous semblait intéressante pour son aspect emblématique Argentin et fait référence à l’échange et au partage inter culturel que nous avons vécue.

On the first wall, I was inspired by a Peruvian weaver I met in Cuzco. The character opposite on the other wall is inspired by the famous Argentinian singer Carlos Gardel. For the background, I was inspired by volcanic landscapes that I saw during my last expedition to Bolivia.

The word “CAMBALACHE” in Argentina, Uruguay and parts of Chile refers to an exchange (of any type) or the idea of ​​bartering. It also refers to a place or situation where disorder and noise predominate.

The symbolism of the word seemed interesting to us for its emblematic Argentinian aspect and refers to the intercultural exchange and sharing that we experienced.

Para la realización del primer muro me inspiré en una tejedora peruana que conocí en Cuzco. El personaje del muro opuesto se inspira en el famoso cantante argentino Carlos Gardel. Para el fondo, me inspiré en paisajes volcánicos que pude ver durante mi última expedición en Bolivia.

La palabra «CAMBALACHE» en Argentina, Uruguay y algunas partes de Chile se refiere a un intercambio (de cualquier tipo) o a la idea de trueque. También hace referencia a un lugar o una situación donde predomina el desorden y el ruido.

La simbología de la palabra nos pareció interesante por su aspecto emblemático argentino y hace referencia al intercambio y al compartir intercultural que vivimos.
